SHELL AVIATION. A Copywriter's Dream Job

I ran Shell Aviation's B2B account for 3 years. I enjoyed learning about aviation grease and engine oil, as a nervous flyer, anything

that keeps aircraft operating effectively at high altitude or landing safely on the runway deserves my undivided attention. Shell's 

involvement with the earliest days of flight is an inspiring story, but the brand had become dusty and unloved. We established new global visual guidelines, created toolkits and assets for dozens of Shell Aviation sub-brands and services to support a new vision. 

 

The elevator pitch to our clients was: "We'll marry the wit and practicality of VW, with the visual drama of National Geographic."
